Wow

Two thousand people turned out in Nelson on Saturday to march against mining. That's an enormous number for a town with a population of 60,000. The equivalent in Wellington would be a protest of more than 10,000 - basically, the hikoi. And this is happening in Nick Smith's own electorate.

Hopefully we'll see an even larger turnout in Auckland this Saturday...
