The filibuster continues...

The filibuster on the Auckland dictatorship bill has entered its third day, with Labour voting in Maori in order to extend proceedings that little bit more. It's a nice bit of revenge - National pioneered this tactic when filibustering (IIRC) the Employment Relations Act back in 2000 - but at the same time it would be nice if our MPs could take the language of our indigenous people, and one of our two official languages (the other being NZSL) seriously, and treat it as something other than a delaying tactic.

Interestingly, the Maori Party seem to have stopped voting at the moment. I guess they all wanted to get home for the weekend.
